Weekend Centre

What we offer
SEES is committed to supporting children and young people with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional communication needs across Kent and neighbouring boroughs.
Our centres provide specialist education and support during the day, evenings, and weekends for individuals aged 5 to 15 years (Children’s Group) and 16 to 25 years (Young Adults). We deliver a differentiated, person-centred approach to learning, carefully tailored to meet the unique needs of each child and young person.
Recognising the vital role of communication for individuals with learning disabilities, we support our clients in developing self-expression and meaningful engagement with the world around them. Our programmes also focus on fostering independence, safety, creativity, and personal fulfilment—enabling every individual to thrive.
This holistic support is made possible through the unrivalled expertise of our specialist teachers, support staff, and in-centre therapy teams, who work collaboratively to deliver outstanding, individualised care.
At SEES, our dedicated team works closely with each individual to develop a tailored learning programme that aligns with their abilities, interests and personal aspirations. We then provide the necessary support to help turn these goals into reality.
To ensure a well-rounded experience, we offer an extensive range of engaging activities designed to cater to diverse preferences. Our participants can choose from:
Practical skills: cooking, woodwork and travel training
Creative pursuits: art, music, crafts, drama and card-making
Educational development: key skills including handwriting, sign language, reading, mathematics and IT
Personal growth: occupational activities, personal development and life skills
We adapt our teaching methods to individual needs, offering either one-to-one sessions or small group activities as appropriate. This flexible approach ensures every person receives the right level of support to thrive and achieve their personal objectives.
