Weekend Centre

What we offer

SEES committed to support children and young people with complex learning difficulties, disabilities, and additional communication needs from across Kent and other nearby boroughs. We provide Weekend – Saturday education, care, and support for people aged from 7 to 15 years (Children Group) and 16 to 25 (Young Adult) at our centres. We would offer a differentiation and person-centred approach to learning, which will be tailored to meet the needs of each individual child or young person we support. Due to the relevance and importance of communications among people with learning disability, our clients will be encouraged to learn how to express themselves and engage with the world around them. We will support them to learn how to become more independent and live safe, creative and fulfilling lives. This will be done collectively by unrivalled expertise of our specialist teachers, support staff and in centre therapy teams.
Consequently, our dedicated team will support individuals to develop a personal learning programme based on their abilities, the things they enjoy and the things they want to achieve. Then we set about supporting them to make these aims a reality. We will offer a wide range of activities to suit everyone. The people we support can choose from cooking, art, music, travel training, woodwork, crafts, occupational activities, key skills (such as handwriting, sign language, reading, maths and IT), drama, personal development, life skills and card-making. Depending on what a person wants to do, we may provide one-to-one or small group sessions when required.
